From New York
Elle a quitté son Valais natal il y a onze ans pour tenter la vie de chanteuse de jazz à New York. Après sa formation, elle a joué dans des petits clubs et des restaurants, en passant avec un chapeau à la fin. Eliane Amherd tourne aujourd’hui aux Etats-Unis, en Europe, en Argentine, en Chine ou en Mongolie avec son groupe, propageant sa musique jazzy, teintée de rythmes latinos et brésiliens. Elle assure paroles et musique, et imprime sa belle voix classique sur Now and from now on, premier disque brillant.
